During Milan Design Week 2024, Convey returns for its second edition with an expanded format in Via dell’Aprica 12, Milan. Set across more than 1,000 square meters, the project brings together a growing network of contemporary brands, designers, and creatives, alongside a curated programme of events that activates the venue throughout the week.
Curated and led by Simple Flair, Convey continues to develop its mission of creating a system that connects emerging brands with reference players from the design industry, fostering new opportunities for dialogue, collaboration, and visibility within the international design community.
The 2024 edition introduces a larger roster of international brands presenting new products, installations, and research projects. Among the participants are names such as CC Tapis, Sunnei, Very Simple Kitchen, Vero, Project 213A, Magniberg, Quintessenza Ceramiche, Thuono Audio, Casa Parini, Macondo, and Marbledworks, reflecting a new generation of contemporary design brands.
A central element of this edition is the exhibition design developed by the design duo Cara Davide. Their project explores the concept of reuse and circularity in exhibition architecture. Large plasterboard panels are laid on the floor like oversized project sheets, framing a varied catalogue of materials, textures, and finishes. Arranged with an organic logic, the installation generates dynamic pathways through the space while preserving the integrity of the materials, allowing them to be reused after the exhibition.
Beyond the exhibition, Convey animates the week with a programme of events that brings together design, food, and cultural collaborations. Highlights include the Lunch Preview curated by Cascina Lago Scuro, the Door After Party opening celebration, and a series of pop ups and gatherings with partners such as Osteria Fratelli Pavesi, Oslo Made in Heaven, Wilden Herbals, and Crusher Running Club.
Another key moment of the programme is Never Seen, a special rooftop installation curated by Ex Figura. The project transforms the surface of the rooftop into a fully mirrored environment, hosting works by leading figures from architecture, design, and art including BIG, Bėika and Lemoine, and Sou Fujimoto.
Through exhibitions, installations, and social moments, the second edition of Convey consolidates the project as an emerging reference platform within Milan Design Week, bringing together brands, creatives, and cultural partners in a shared space of experimentation and exchange.
